At 72 years old, Rizwan Hafeez bin Malzam, with his strength and health, could give many 40-year-old women and men a run for their money.

He has lived in Kuala Lumpur all his life, and for 40 years Rizwan Hafeez bin Malzam was sick. By the age of 42, he already suffered from osteochondrosis, sciatica, and arthritis, and by 68 he was disabled with a diagnosis of hip joint coxarthrosis. His joints were almost completely worn out and he moved with difficulty using a cane; even a year later he was in a wheelchair.

His pension money was never enough to buy expensive medicine. Being at a rather old age, he decided to seriously take care of his joints and back pain. As a result, after 2 years of disability. And at the age of 70, the doctor who examined Rizwan Hafeez bin Malzam was surprised to see how healthy he was: “Even if you go to sports or run tomorrow, he would be a champion.”

But the most surprising thing is that at the age of 72, Rizwan Hafeez bin Malzam ran the most difficult marathon distance of 42 kilometers and 195 meters and won an honorary international trophy title.
